Other Abilities:Market Cost: At 1st level the Guild will buy all items from the artificer at market price automatically. Gold Discount: At 2nd level the mage may buy enchantment supplies from the Guild at 75% of normal costs. This is for gold costs only. Identify: At 3rd level the Artificer may cast Identify 1/day as a spell-like ability, with a casting time of 1 hour. At 6th and 9th the Artificer may cast it 1 more time per day. Charge Staff/Wand: The Artificer may recharge a depleted staff or wand. The mage must be able to enchant the item in question. This refills the staff or wand up to fifty charges (full). Gold and XP cost for the recharge is half the costs for creating the item. Foiled Curse: At 4th level the mage may roll, as free action, to let go of a cursed item: Will DC= 10 + curse's caster level. This may attempted once per item, if the item is successfully dropped, or removed by magic, and then picked back up the mage may roll again to drop it. The mage can only do this if he knows the item is cursed. Experience Discount: At 5th level all enchantment experience costs are 75% of normal, spells placed in the item are at full cost. At 10th lvl experience costs of enchanting are 50% of normal. Analyze Dweomer: At 6th level the mage may cast Analyze Dweomer 1/ day as a spell-like ability. Bonus Item Creation Feat: At 7th level the mage gains a free item creation feat. Fake Feat: At 8th lvl the enchanter can fake any or all race or metamagic feats requirements when enchanting an item. Alignment or religious requirements may not. Curses, Foiled Again: At 9th level the mage may try to alter a cursed item to a similar non-cursed item. Example: a bag of devouring to a bag of holding. The cost is equal that of enchanting an item of 25% of the market value of the 'uncursed' item. Item Sight: The mage is no longer fooled by similar items, a cursed item is never mistaken for its 'uncursed' twin. |
